About Lacie Killion
Lacie has found her passion for helping children, teens, individuals, couples, and families using system-based approaches. She combines talk-therapy, expressive arts therapy, and group therapy in the treatment of behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and trauma.
As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Registered Play Therapist, Lacie has a passion for helping others be the best they can be.
She completed her Master's degree at Argosy University in August of 2018. Lacie had a wonderful opportunity in her internship with In Focus Counseling to work with diverse groups and gain training in Exposure and Response Prevention. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Human Services with an emphasis in Rehabilitative Counseling and minors in Art and Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado in 2013. Lacie also received certificates in Systemic Art, Play, and Sandplay therapy. Using her diverse experience in the short-term acute treatment of mental health disorders Lacie enjoys working with all people to reach their goals and feel more whole.
